Curly Contessa's unique gift wrap emerged from the creative vision of our founder, Kristin Farmer. She noticed a gap in the market, a lack of representation that truly honored the diverse experiences of her friends, particularly Black women. As a designer and illustrator, she decided to take matters into her own hands, crafting watercolor-designed products that beautifully portray Black people. Her mission was simple: to make Black women feel seen, celebrated, and cherished in a world that sometimes overlooked their uniqueness. 🖌️🎨
